The project moves on. The mobile costs should make sense.
Work phones, mobile contracts, coverage and support need to keep up with your teams. Start with the services you are paying for and the jobs people need them to do.
Review the mobile serviceTake the next supplier conversation beyond the tariff.
These checks help you decide what needs attention. They do not assume your current supplier is failing or that every service should be replaced.
Compare the mobile bill with the people using it
Ask for the active SIM list, assigned users, recent usage and contractual change dates. A quiet SIM may be a valid standby service; check before cancelling it.
Check the places the team relies on
Confirm where calls, project apps and data connections need to work. Compare coverage predictions with actual use before choosing a network or connection.
Make setup and replacement somebody’s job
Agree how a new starter gets a working phone and apps, who supplies a replacement and how the provider handles support. A tariff quote rarely answers every question.
Close the services when the work moves on
Check the phone, SIM, work account and project access separately. Transfer or end services deliberately and record the next effective billing change.
A handover that covers the bill as well as the kit.
Use this with the project lead, IT and whoever manages the mobile account. Decide what changes, who acts and what remains open.
| Decision | What to establish | Who to involve |
|---|---|---|
| People and devices | Who has each phone, and what does their next role need? | The project lead confirms the move; IT updates the assignment. |
| SIMs and contracts | Which lines remain in use, and when can charges change? | The mobile account owner checks usage and contract terms. |
| Accounts and access | Which permissions should end, and which must continue? | The project lead approves; IT or the client administrator acts. |
| Records and support | Who needs the retained records or support after handover? | The project and information owners agree the ongoing need. |
| Open actions | Which changes are still waiting on a client or provider? | Name a person, due date and confirmation for each action. |

Put the mobile service and the IT setup together.
Keep the conversation focused on what needs to work better: the bill, coverage, devices or the support your teams receive.
The mobile contract needs attention
Review active SIMs, usage, allowances, renewal terms and the locations that matter. We can discuss suitable mobile services and device options.
Work phones need consistent management
Choose an appropriate company-device or personal-device setup. We can help with supported Microsoft controls, provisioning and ongoing management.
Changes keep falling between suppliers
Agree who handles setup, replacements, project moves and leavers. We can bring mobile services and managed IT support into the same discussion.

Bring the mobile-service question.
Tell us whether you want to review mobile contracts, coverage, device management or the way support is organised. We can start with that part of the service.
